Tess is an award-winning journalist with the News on 6. Tess joined News On 6 in March 2012. She’s an anchor and reporter for 6 in the Morning. Tess is a proud Oklahoman, born and raised in El Reno, who always dreamed of working in the TV news business and is honored to have the opportunity work in her home state.
Tess graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in broadcast journalism. She started her career on-air as a college student, anchoring the morning and evening newscasts at a small TV station in Stillwater.
Tess is an avid outdoorswoman with a passion for hunting and fishing. In fact, she spends almost all her free time in the woods or on the water with her husband, Matt, and their little dog, Muffin.
A few of Tess’ other favorite things include spending time with her mom, nieces and nephew. And, of course, cheering on her Oklahoma State Cowboys. If you see Tess out, be sure to stop and say hello!
